Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Surgery offers all kinds of surgical care for children, including cardiosurgery. Today the center deals with the following directions:

- Endovascular surgery (minimally invasive treatment of some diseases in children)

The center is equipped with modern appliences, which make it possible to perform complicated surgeries. Thus, specialists working at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Surgery were the first who performed the following operations: heart transplantation, hybrid closing of multiple defects of ventricular septum, stenting of right ventricular outflow tract at Fallot's tetralogy, thoracoscopic plasty of diaphragm at congenital hernia, transanal endorectal pull-through of colon at Hirschsprung's disease, laparoscopic pyloromyotomy, surgeries at reflux diseases and esophageal achalasia.
